Dolly

Most people have heard of Dolly the sheep, who was successfully cloned in 1997. Since then several other mammals have been cloned and the debate of the moralities of cloning has been ongoing ever since. Is it right or wrong to clone animals and plants? Are we messing with nature and the way that things are meant to be? Although we can be certain that cloning will be part of our futures, it has not yet been determined to what extent.
Cloning Humans??The idea of cloning has sparked debate all over the world. The concept of cloning humans can be quite eerie and many people do not like the idea of it; saying that scientists are interfering with the natural world. One of the main reasons of cloning is to produce animals with desired qualities. Over generations of natural breeding many desired traits and characteristics can disappear, and cloning would enable these traits to live on. Using cloning, scientists will be able to repopulate endangered species which may prove to be beneficial as strong traits can be used to ensure a better chance of survival.

Ethical debates have ensued all over the world, and the main question is how far will it go? What are your thoughts on this highly controversial subject?
